The 11 steps behind a bottle of handcrafted sugarcane spirit

Table of Contents

Craft doesn't mean everything has to be made by hand. To us, craft is the patience to keep at something until it is right.

From sugarcane to raw spirit

The cane is pressed on the day it is harvested to keep its fresh aroma. The juice is reduced to a syrup, then left to ferment naturally for 7–10 days — this is when the first layers of aroma form.

Two distillations

The first run separates the raw spirit from impurities. The second keeps only the "heart" — the finest part of the spirit, where the character of each expression takes shape.

Ageing, blending and finishing

The spirit rests in oak casks, is proofed and blended to the recipe of Lilt, Mellow or Bold, deep chill-filtered and only then bottled. Every bottle carries a Bottle ID so you can trace the batch it came from.
